Enjoy a delicious brunch with Appenzeller specialties at Hirschen Wald - Inn and Bakery. Each first Sunday of the month from 10 am to 1 pm, we prepare the brunch buffet. Treat yourself on Sunday! Whether after a cozy walk, with a partner or with the whole family, we will indulge you with a rich brunch. You can then enjoy the view over the gentle hills of the Appenzell region to the Alpstein and much further... and recharge energy for the coming week. Bread, Zopf, croissants, and traditional cookies come from our own bakery. Eggs, milk, and various Appenzeller cheeses come from the nearby area. Try the Appenzeller specialties like Mostbröckli, smoked bacon, and boiled sausages with Chäshörnli and apple sauce. To finish, a glass of Cupli Cava or Flauder makes the brunch at Gasthaus Hirschen in Wald AR a memorable experience.
