The Lindengut villa with its coach house and gardener's house is nestled within a magnificent park, inviting visitors to stay. Towards the end of the 18th century, Lindengut was built as one of the first residences outside the gates of Winterthur by entrepreneur Johann Sebastian Clais.
Today, Lindengut serves as a historic museum and an attractive venue for civil weddings in a very special setting. Richly decorated tiles from city council houses and painted clock towers from local production make the rooms shine in splendid glory.
