Baking bread in a wood-fired oven, pots like in Roman times, cooking an apéro with recipes from antiquity together, or having a picnic in the amphitheatre — at Augusta Raurica, you can engage with the past in many ways. During a guided tour, you will embark on a discovery journey through the former center of Augusta Raurica. In the museum, you will see the largest treasure of silver from late antiquity; in the authentically furnished Roman house, you will learn about everyday life of a Roman family; and in the impressive theatre, everything revolves around ancient games and spectacles.
